Cancellation Policy

If the event cannot be held safely due to weather conditions or other safety-related reasons, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event.

If the Finland Ice Marathon is cancelled due to weather conditions or another circumstance beyond the organizer’s control, participants will receive a refund of 50% of the participation fee. Alternatively, 50% of the participation fee may be credited towards the participation fee for the following year’s event.

If the course has to be shortened due to weather conditions or another reason beyond the organizer’s control, the event will, if possible, be held on the modified course. Shortening the course does not entitle participants to a refund or reduction of the participation fee.

No refunds will be given if a participant chooses not to participate or does not use their participation entitlement.

The organizer reserves the right to make any changes to the event arrangements, courses and schedules that are necessary for safety reasons.

The organizer will announce any event cancellation through the media, the event website and social media channels.
